
The IAG (Indiana Association for the Gifted) Conference was held in Indianapolis on December 9th and 10th. East Allen's team enjoyed learning about best practices, identification, social emotional strategies, and how to enhance the academic growth of our High ability students as well as all students. Those representing EACS at the conference included, Beth Baumert (Instructional Coach at Leo Elementary), Lori Fendel (Math teacher at Woodlan Junior High), Jenean Stuckey (Language Arts Leo High School), Staci Salzbrenner (High Ability Coordinator/Coach), Kara Murphy (Grade 2 teacher at Southwick), and Heather Hunley (Secondary Social Emotional Learning Coach).

Today 11/20/2024, East Allen County Schools is under a 2 hour delay with no early collaboration dismissal. Buses will pick students up 2 hours later than their normal time. School will start 2 hours later than the normal start time. Students will be dismissed at their regular time.
