Ms. Gayle Etzler and Mrs. Paulette Nellems both said their final goodbyes at a recent board meeting. Ms. Etzler has been around EACS since 1965 as a teacher, parent, grandparent, and board member. Ms. Etzler said, “I’m leaving with a heavy heart, but I know you all are going to do well by continuing to serve our students”.
Mrs. Nellems has served on the board for eight years. Mrs. Nellems said, “It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve alongside these board members and kudos to the superintendent Hissong and her staff for working so hard for kids. I’ve learned a lot while serving”.
