The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) awarded up to $4.21 million to schools across the state to celebrate their progress and achievement in supporting student excellence and growth. Heritage Jr. Sr. High School was awarded the Excellence in Work-Based Learning award and received - $310,000 for providing students a leg up in their futures and in their chosen careers by providing access to high-quality work-based learning experiences. And, for having an enrollment of at least 500 students that had the highest percentage of student work-based learning course completions in the 2020-2021 school year.
