East Allen County Schools (EACS) will celebrate College GO! Week, September 21–25, 2026, encouraging students to explore the many opportunities available through higher education and begin thinking about their plans after high school.
Throughout the week, EACS staff will promote the importance of college and career planning while engaging students in conversations about their own educational journeys.
Teachers and staff will use the week to share their college experiences, answer questions, and encourage students who may be interested in pursuing college after graduation. Schools will also incorporate fun activities, displays, photos, and other opportunities designed to spark conversations about education beyond high school.
“College GO! Week gives our students an opportunity to begin thinking about what is possible for their future,” said Superintendent Hissong. “Whether a student is already planning to attend college or is just beginning to explore their options, we want them to know that there are people throughout EACS ready to encourage, guide, and support them along the way.”
EACS recognizes that every student’s path after graduation may look different. College GO! Week is one more opportunity to expose students to options, encourage them to dream about their futures, and provide information that can help them make informed decisions about their next steps.
