Dear East Allen County Schools Families,

The beginning of this school year is off to a great start!

As the daylight hours get shorter and the temperatures get cooler, please advise your child on the appropriate attire for the weather conditions.

This time of year, there is always the possibility that school could be canceled or delayed due to inclement or unsafe weather conditions. eLearning days take place on these weather-related cancellation days. If you have questions regarding eLearning, please ask your child’s teacher. Please check the EACS website, Facebook, or Twitter for weather updates on delays and closings.

As a reminder, you can track your child’s academic progress on Skyward. Your child’s teacher will have their grades updated each Monday by 4:00 p.m. Please contact your child’s teacher with questions about your child’s academic progress.

I encourage you to support the many fall activities that are already underway, and to take advantage of all the opportunities available to watch our students perform and compete as they represent their school and EACS.
