Last year, August 8, 2025, these officers responded to a reference of a lost child that wondered off into a corn field. These officers quickly worked to locate the 2-year-old child who was sitting silently in a tall field of corn on this hot day. Officer Moord followed Millie into the cornfield., following Millies’s lead they went straight to the child, they found the child unharmed and returned him to his frantic parents.
Officer Moord has been with the NH Police Dept. since July of 2015. K9 Millie joined the NHPD the summer of 2025. Chief Krueger said, “Officer Moord is a passionate K9 handler and Millie is a great asset to the department with her abilities to not only detect narcotics, gun powder but her ability to track.
