Annual Polar Plunge

For the 11th year in a row & 12th year overall, EAU had the largest team at the event with 32 plungers. We raised $3263.00 to help support Special Olympics athletes. This was the most amount raised by a high school team (the 3rd time we have accomplished this).

  • The Seniors led the way with 8 plungers - of those: Josef Hanson, Addison Lee, Jasper Morua, Marival Paz & Michael Vargas plunged for the 4th time!

  • The Juniors were a close second with 7 plungers with Cryptid Anderson also joining the 4-time Plunge Club as a junior having participated with us as an 8th grader.

  • For the second year in a row Molly Moffitt was the lone member of the Sophomore class to plunge.

  • The Freshmen class had a solid turnout with 6 plungers.

  • Dr. Goodman represented the district admin once again & Amy Grubbs once again helped represent the EAU staff by participating.

  • The team was rounded out with 4 alums, one former EAU student who is a senior at New Haven, and one parent.

Special thanks to Supt. Hissong for coming out to support & to those who made contributions to our students.
