Lexi Beason, senior at Woodlan High was presented with Lilly Endowment Scholarship award! The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program was first offered in 1998. Lilly Endowment Inc. awards full-tuition scholarships to selected students from each county in Indiana. The scholarship must be used to pursue a baccalaureate degree at any accredited public or private Indiana college or university. The Endowment hopes that this program will continue to encourage many of Indiana's most talented students to attend one of Indiana's fine higher education institutions and after graduation consider pursuing occupations in Indiana.
Lexi will also receive full tuition, required fees, and a book stipend for four years. The recipient may attend any public or private, Indiana four-year college or university.
Lexi plans to attend Indiana University (Bloomington) to student Bio Chemistry.
