East Allen County Schools

Recently, the Heritage FFA had teams competing in the Crops Career Development Event and the Forestry Career Development Event.

The Senior team for forestry placed 1^st and 8^th.  The first place team members are Erica Sorg, Addison Werts, Julia Koroncevicius and Shelby Andrews.  That team qualified for state competition in December. The 8^th place team is Mohammed Esarhaek, Max Sorg and Natalie Sorg.  Individual highlights are Erica placed 1^st, Addison placed 4^th and Julia Placed 6^th.

The junior crops teams placed 2^nd and 4^th.  The second place team led by Emmitt Riley – 2^nd place individual, Olivia Buuck 7^th place and Luke Dillion-15^th.  The 4^th place team led by Reid Scheumann-8^th, Cody Hormann-16^th and Preston Queen-21^st.  The second place team qualified to go to state.

The senior crops team placed 4^th qualifying for state competition.  Maggie Minnich led the team placing 2^nd, with Vivian Bowers, Wyatt Fink and Dorothy Riley.
