Charles Amstutz, recent graduate of Leo High School won the SkillsUSA Indiana State Championship. The area he won was for Information Technology Services. He was able to solve the challenges faster than anyone else in the competition. The purpose was to evaluate each contestant’s preparation for employment and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism in the field of computer maintenance technology.
Competitors at the state level vyed for the chance to advance to the National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta from June 23-27. The national competition will feature various opportunities for students to earn industry-recognized credentials. Charlie will be going to Atlanta to represent Indiana, and Leo High School at the National Championships.
