More than a hundred kindergarteners from throughout the district spent the day at New Haven Primary School with CNA and Pharmacy Tech students at the third annual Teddy Bear Clinic getting a behind-the-scenes look at medical equipment.
The kids received a teddy bear and briefcase when they arrived and went to nine different stations using their furry friends as demonstrations.
They also were able to look the part with doctor coats, stethoscopes, hair and shoe coverings and more.
The tiny doctors also got some hands-on experience with wearing personal protective equipment, bandaging and even got to get their hands dirty with an operation demonstration.
Mr. Chen, principal of New Haven Primary said, "The students absolutely loved it"!
