Coach James Linn Indiana Wrestling Coach of the Year!
This is Coach Linn’s 21st year coaching wrestling, 10 years as an assistant and 11 as the head coach. He has coached 18 state qualifiers 8 of them placing at State.
Under his coaching he has won:
2 Sectional Team Titles
1 Regional Team Title
1 NE8 Conference Title
2 IHSWCA Team State Appearances, placing 9th and 6th
During January, Coach Linn was named the Regional Coach of the Year. He received it from The Carrol Regional. It’s voted on by the regional coaches. New Haven’s team won sectionals and regionals this year. Not only this, Coach Linn was recently named the Indiana Wrestling Coach of the Year! He said, "I couldn’t have done any of this without a great coaching staff.”
