The EACS Board of School Trustees recognized Ben Richards a senior at Leo Jr/Sr High School for his awesome Filmmaking skills.  His latest film is called The Forge Reclamation project!

The project is a feature-length film that debuted at the Cinema Center in Fort Wayne back in January. Ben started writing the script for the film a few years ago.

The Forge Reclamation is about 90 minutes and is action packed. It’s about a retired drug dealer who was robbed of his entire fortune. He then set out on a mission to discover who took his money and how they knew about it.

Ben was the writer, director, videographer and editor for the movie.

Ben says he loves making films and intends to continue to do so with dreams of one day seeing ‘A Ben Richards Film’ on the big screen of a blockbuster movie!

The Forge Reclamation isn’t complete yet, the distribution company is working with Ben to release it digitally and on Blu-ray.

Ben is currently a video editor for JW Specialties, became an Eagle Scout with an accumulated 192 service hours and earned 21 merit badges and he’s a National Honor Society member.  His GPA is 3.48.

Congratulations Ben Richards!
