Director of Facilities Recognized for Hard Work and Dedication

At the most recent board meeting, the board members and superintendent recognized Mr. Doug Roemer for his hard work and dedication!  Over the summer, Mr. Roemer took on the major challenge of completing a large number of construction projects.  He has worked for EACS for over 37 years, (hired back on April 28, 1980).  The projects that were essentially completed this summer include:

  1. Secure Entrances at: Cedarville Elementary, Heritage Jr./Sr. High, Leo Elementary, Leo Jr./Sr. High, New Haven Intermediate, Paul Harding Junior High/East Allen University, Prince Chapman Academy and Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School.
  2. Conversion for the lower level and upstairs at the former New Haven Elementary into the Administration Annex.
  3. Asbestos Abatement at Southwick Elementary School.
  4. A/C for Leo Jr./Sr. High School Kitchen.
  5. Masonry
  6. Bleachers/Pressbox/Lights/Score board at Heritage Jr./Sr. High School.
  7. Auditeria Improvements (tiered seating and sound system) at Leo Jr./Sr. High School.
  8. Vacating the Park Hill Learning Center and the ’64 Building.
