Paraprofessionals Substitute Paraprofessionals
- An expanded nation-wide Criminal History and Sex Offender Check will be required at a cost of $22.90
- Paraprofessionals must be highly qualified by one of the following:
- Associates Degree
- 60 college credit hours
- 1000 hours working with students
- Passing the ParaPro exam
- Starting pay for Paraprofessionals is $13.30
- Hours per day from 5.5 to 7.0
- 6.0 hours or more are eligible for Health Insurance after 60 days
- Substitute Paraprofessionals have an hourly rate of $9.16 per hour
