National School Bus Safety Week in October is the time to reinforce bus safety rules among students and express gratitude to your bus drivers and staff for their hard work and professionalism. It's also a time for vehicle drivers to be aware of students entering and leaving buses.
Thanks to our bus drivers and staff for all they do for kids!
Nothing is so important that you should put the lives of children at risk. #SlowStopStay #BusSafetyWeek

3. School transportation vehicles make up less than one percent of all traffic fatalities nationwide.
4. Large school buses are heavier and distribute crash forces differently than passenger cars and light trucks do. Because of these differences, bus passengers experience much less crash force than those in passenger cars, light trucks and vans.
