Welcome to Woodlan Primary. We are a K-3 grade school, offering full-day kindergarten. We feed into Woodlan Intermediate School, then Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School. We have an average of 350 students and approximately 40 staff members. Our school curriculum focuses on first hand experiences, Indiana State & Common Core standards,Balanced Literacy, Balanced Math, various forms of assessment to drive instruction, and application of curriculum to real situations. The staff models life-long learning by involving themselves in professional development activities to be on the cutting edge of educational issues. Parent and community members are an integral part of Woodlan Primary. We have a high percentage of PTO members involved in the daily events at the school. The community involvement and local businesses serve as a source of unlimited resources to various programs we offer.
