As the holiday season approaches and the year draws to a close, thoughts naturally turn to family and friends.  Our thoughts often turn to Decembers past and especially to those we hold most dear.  This is the season to celebrate enduring bonds of family and sustaining ties of friendship as we echo the traditional wish “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Men”.

It is a season of thanksgiving.  One in which we take time to remember, in a special way those whose words and concerns have lightened the burdens and brightened our lives the past twelve months.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you who are members of this great school community.  Thank you for the extra effort that makes PHJHS a special place.  The role of teachers, parents, clerical staff, instructional assistance, office administrators, nurse, coaches, cooks, custodians, bus drivers, PTO, community partners and volunteers, remains vital to the operation of our school.  The success of teachers and the achievement of students reflect your effort and hard work.  Without the efforts and cooperation of each, a solid education would not be possible.

Thank you for permitting me to share these thoughts with you as I offer my best wishes to you and your family for a wonderful holiday season.
