EACS PARENT VISITATION POLICY
As we have many students new to New Haven Middle School this year, we thought we would remind everyone about the Parent Visitation Policy that East Allen County Schools has in place.  The policy states that classroom visits be scheduled with the teacher at least one school day in advance so that the teacher can suggest an appropriate time to visit.  Visitors will NOT be allowed to pay unexpected or unannounced visits to classrooms or other areas within the building.  If you are visiting, we ask that you only go to the areas that you have requested to visit.  This is not just a mere courtesy, but for the children's safety and education that we cannot allow visitors to walk the halls or appear in a classroom unexpectedly.  Teachers should not take class time to discuss individual matters with parents as this time is expected to be instructing and supervising students.  Teachers will be happy to schedule a time to meet with you during non-instructional time.

EACS Transportation is providing an activity bus for NHMS transfer students from the PAUL HARDING AREA who participate in extra-curricular activities at 5:15 every evening after school.  A bus has been added for 4:30 to take transfer students after tutoring as well.
