At the May 16th School Board meeting, three students from the East Allen Alternative School presented their ideas on games with a New Haven twist. Leading off was Travis Mash, who explained his team’s game, “New Havenopoly”. Following him was Chandler Schriber, whose game was “New Havenland”. Leo Area Schools Win Big in the EACS Annual Art Contest

East Allen County Schools began holding this annual art contest in 1995 to showcase the artwork of our talented students. The contest is voluntary and a wonderful opportunity for students. Each year four winners are chosen. Each schools’ art teacher selects 4 pieces of artwork, out of the hundreds of pieces of artwork they see throughout the year from their students. Woodlan Jr/Sr High School recently participated in IVY Tech's Mobile Enrollment program. Students were assisted with applying to IVY Tech, selecting classes, completing financial aid documentation, and setting up their student accounts. 4th Annual Autism Fair
4th Annual Autism Resource Fair Huge Success

This year’s Autism Resource Fair was very successful. We had approximately 350 people attend the event and over 40 vendors available with valuable information for families. Southwick Elementary First Grader Named Tincaps All Star Reader

Hanifa Be, first grader at Southwick Elementary. She is a hardworking student who has grown from a C for TRC (reading level) in the beginning of the year to an N reading level end of year testing. She has surpassed the 1st grade level benchmark of I for TRC by 5 levels! Indiana Department of Education Names 'Three' East Allen County Schools as Four Star Schools

Recently, the Indiana Department of Education announced the 2014-15 Four Star Schools.
