Scholastic Art and Writing Winners

The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards features the Gold and Silver Key winning students in grades 7-12 from Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio. It has grown into what is now a model program for the rest of the country, exhibiting the best student artwork and writing of the region.

The FWMoA Program is one of only 26 Scholastic Programs in the country to offer the full Art and Writing Program and our region has grown to include 52 counties in Indiana and Ohio.  Year after year, the winning students in our program go on to win numerous national awards. 

Scholastic Writing Winners:

Grayson Spaw silver key in Poetry and Gold key for her writing portfolio, Emma Shade honorable mention in poetry, Taylor Stahl honorable mention in the novel category, Madi Turpin Gold key in science fiction/fantasy.  These are all Leo Jr. Sr. High students, Dr. Neal Brown, principal. Emily Powers Gold key for poetry, East Allen University, principal Mr. Doug Hicks.

Scholastic Art Winners:

Lindsey Marriott Gold key for sculpture, Ella Hoffman Silver key for painting, Emily Ibholm Silver key for drawing and illustration, Bailianna Sholl Gold and Silver key for photography, also Leo Jr. Sr. High students.
