"The mission of the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA), Inc. is to provide educationally evaluated music performance activities for the students of the State of Indiana, to assist in the development of performance oriented assessment of state and national musical academic standards, and to offer educational support to fulfill this mission." East Allen University, Leo Jr. Sr. High and New Haven High combined efforts again this year for the fourth year in a row to raise money for Special Olympics and Special Olympics Athletes. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards features the Gold and Silver Key winning students in grades 7-12 from Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio. Junior Achievement Essay Winners Honored at EACS Board Meeting
Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana received funding through the Schwab Foundation in order to offer an essay contest for students currently enrolled in the JA Career Success curriculum.
