The Leo English Academic Super Bowl Team recently competed in the State meet at Purdue University. The English team consisting of Paige Dempsey, Sydney Day, and Kristy Rapes are State Champions!
American Heart Association’s Jump Rope & Hoops for Heart

During the 2013-14 school year, eight EACS elementary and middle schools participated in the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope & Hoops for Heart initiative. Ms. Ann Acosta, Youth Market Director for the Heart Association personally came to thank Dr. Folks and the EACS team of students and staff for raising a total of $17,949.00 this school year.

The Woodlan Intermediate special needs class participated in the annual Tin Caps reading program. Each student had an individual goal to meet in order to earn a free trip to a Tin Caps game. This year 8th grader Megan Miller went above and beyond her goal.

EACS Staff Committed and Dedicated to Providing Save Environment for Kids

East Allen County Schools is committed to providing the safest possible environment for our students and staff. Parents and guardians entrust the schools on a daily basis with their most precious possession, their child. We take that trust seriously, and we are committed to doing everything within our power to keep everyone safe when they are at school. On Thursday, June 5th nearly 100% of the entire EACS staff participated in a 3-hour voluntary training session on the ALICE safety procedures.
