Paul Harding Jr High Students Motivated to Excel During ISTEP Testing

Paul Harding Junior High staff dressed in camouflage to begin the "Battle of the ISTEP". Teachers performed a flash mob dancing the "Wobble" to motivate students to do their best on the test. Pryce Underwood, an academic and athletic standout graduate of Harding High, was the motivational speaker at the event. Students and staff enjoyed the kick-off celebration and students worked hard during ISTEP testing!  more

Woodlan Jr Sr High Students Raise Pennies for Patients

During a 3-month fund-raising period, Woodlan Junior-Senior High School students raised more than $2300 for the Pennies for Patients program. There were several activities held to raise the funds and the culminating activity was a Woodlan Student Talent Show! Students displayed their talents by dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments.   more
Southwick Elementary School Participates in 'Read Across America' Event

Southwick Elementary celebrated Read Across America during the month of March. Each student received a book of their own. As Dr. Suess has indicated, "you are never too old, too wacky, or too wild to pick up a book to read to a child." Southwick had over twenty administrators, community partners, and former educators who volunteered to read to students.   more

Chloe Koch, 6th grader at Leo Elementary won the FAME Fusion of Concert Color poster contest for the 6th grade level throughout Northeast Indiana! One winner was picked for each grade level K-8 grade.  more
Leo Elementary Students Place in Sumdog Regional Competition

Recently, Mrs. Peters Leo Elementary pre-algebra math class won the 7-day Sumdog Regional Competition. They won by 300 points, beating 36 other schools in the Indiana/ Ohio Regional. There were 5 Leo Elementary students that placed in the top 10 out of 3,200 students!   more
East Allen County Schools Teams Rank High in 17th Annual Math Bowl

Recently, approximately 7,000 students from 477 teams were a part of the 2013 M.A.T.H. Bowl Competition at 44 sites across Indiana, including a site at Park Hill Learning Center.   more
