  • Attention current in-school interns:  Your transferable skills final assignment is due today.  See your mentor or Mrs. Osborne if you did not get one.

  • Attention boys in grades 7-11:  anyone interested in trying out for basketball next year should plan on attending a ten minute meeting Monday after school starting @ 3:00.

  • Any girl grades 8 - 11 interested in playing HS golf need to sign up in Coach Newberg's room by Tuesday.
He will have information for you about our first meeting of the year.  That meeting will be June 7 at 8 PM at Cedar Creek golf Course.  Contact Coach Newberg if you have any questions

  • Cedar Creek Junior Golf Camp
    All Boys and Girls ages 7-15 interested in golf can sign up and play at this camp.  The dates are June 20 and 27.   July 11 & 18 with the tournament on July 19.  The cost is $75 per child.  Contact Cedar creek or Coach Newberg if you have any questions.  There is a registration form on Cedar Creek’s website or on the bulletin board outside of Coach Newberg's classroom.

  • The library is now CLOSED for the rest of the school year.  Please get all library books returned as soon as possible.  Thanks.


  • There are still 9 seats available for the After Prom/Cedar Point trip.  See Mrs. Santilli in the library for tickets.

  • Information is available in Student Services in regard to the 2013 Debutante Cotillion


  • Students and parents who traveled to Washington, D.C. this year should stop by to pick up their picture from Mr. Lightfoot in room 516. 

  • Congratulations to the Girls Track team who advanced four individuals to regionals plus a relay.  Individuals who advanced were Keanna Gary in the discus, Hannah Lengacher in the 400 meter dash (Broke school record), Jennifer Rodgers in the high jump, and Taylor Seiss in the high jump (Sectional Champ).  The 4x400 Relay Team also advanced.  Members were Hannah Lengacher, Morgan McDirmit, Lauren Hamilton, and Michelle Grush.  These girls will compete next Tuesday at Northrop for a chance to advance to the state meet.

  • Girls middle school soccer team moved to 11-0 and won the" 6th Annual Leo Soccer Tournament" this weekend. Won 6-0 vs New Haven and beat Blackhawk Christian 5-0 in the championship. Come support the girls Tuesday, May 15th at home at 5pm. This is the last home game of the year.

  • A reminder to the middle school wrestling team that your banquet will be after school on Tuesday at 3:15 in the Auditeria.

  • The last day the library will be open will be Tuesday May 15th.  Also, ALL library books are now due.

  • 7th Graders need to turn in beginning band forms in to band room.

  • SSH Members:  last meeting of the year tomorrow May 15 @ 7:20 in Room 403!

  • From the Clinic:  Any student with medication in the clinic should pick it up before the end of school.  Medications are not held over the summer and those not claimed will be disposed of.


  • Starting Monday 5-14-12 all Senior's you may pay cash in the following lines only! This is after you use up your POS money. Let us know if you have a sibling to transfer it to.

CLARIFICATION OF BOARD MEETING

The regular EACS Board of School Trustees meetings for May will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 and Tuesday, May 22, 2012.   The meetings begin at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Administration Building  - 1240 State Road 930 East, New Haven, IN. The public is welcome.
