The East Allen County Schools Corporation provides student services
that impact positively on the educational, physical, and social
development of its students. These services, pre-school through high
school graduation, meet individual as well as group needs. All are
encouraged to take advantage of services provided by our counselors,
nurses, behavior specialists, and psychologists. Alternative placements,
at-risk programs and programs provided with the collaborative efforts
of social agencies and the courts are available to students. Student
services personnel prefer to act proactively. Internal and external
expertise provides an array of resources to address the concerns and
needs of students, parents, and staff. Contact the Executive Director of
Student Services for more information.
Alternative Programs
The
EACS alternative programs are designed to maintain and/or enhance
academic achievement while modifying student behavior in a variety of
settings. Students are placed in the programs as a result of
disciplinary hearings, court involvement, or special considerations.
Individualized instruction is provided to promote success with learning
and to prepare the student for success upon return to the school setting
or upon graduation. These programs serve students in grades 1-12.
Contact the Executive Director of Student Services for more information.
