Retiree Benefit Information
When an employee retires from East Allen County Schools' at the end of a school year their insurance is active through 8/31. During the month of June the employee will receive a benefit packet from Human Resources to either continue or cancel coverage effective 9/1 as a retiree. Some time in August the employee will receive a packet from Old National Insurance regarding what to do next. The packet will either include Cobra if you have declined insurance or a coupon book to make payments to continue.
