On Wednesday, October 17th, the Woodlan Varsity Volleyball Team volunteered at the Woodburn Community Food Bank (after a long practice) to stock shelves. They also brought several donated food items and presented a check in the amount of $460 to also help the food bank.
Currently, about 55 local families are utilizing the food bank. The players did a wonderful job stocking the shelves, and an even better job collecting items and money for their community.
The food bank is housed at the Woodburn United Methodist Church.
