, a senior at Heritage Jr. Sr. High School was elected as the central director of the National Junior Horticultural Association. Rachel will serve the organization in this role as a national officer for one year. During her year in office she will attend numerous events to promote the organization as well as plan contests and next year’s convention.

(NJHA) is a U.S. non-profit organization, founded in 1934, that is dedicated to promoting and developing horticulture among youth. This is mainly achieved through a variety of horticulturally related tours, activities, and competitions organized at annual national conventions held each fall.
