EACS Board of School Trustees Recognized Student Ambassador

At a recent school board meeting, board members along with Dr. Ken Folks, Superintendent recognized Daniel Romary, senior at New Haven High School. was selected as the 2013 Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Ambassador, representing New Haven High School and the EACS district. Daniel attended a 4-day leadership conference/workshop at Butler

University, with approximately 250 high school students from around the state. This workshop is held to develop future leaders. In the days of training, the Ambassadors are taught how to work outside their comfort zone, and increase their leadership abilities. Daniel represented New Haven High School and EACS very well!

Daniel is an awesome leader at NHHS. He is Student Council President, Senior Class Vice President, SADD (Students

Against Destructive Decisions) President, Principal's Advisory Cabinet Founder & Member, National Honor Society Member, CANstruction Captain, Key Club Member, Varsity Golf Captain, Drama Club Member, Project READS Volunteer,  Academic Decathlon Member, and he is currently ranked 1st in his class

Daniel is the son of Steve and Kim Romary, both teachers for EACS!
