Office Depot's "National Backpack Program" provides "at-risk" school children with a new backpack for the school year. The goal is to make a difference in the communities where they operate and do business. Recently, the local Office Depot donated 200 drawstring backpacks filled with a zipper pouch with pencils, pencil sharpener, pens, crayons and an eraser.
“Office Depot is an active player in our community. It’s great to see businesses and schools work together to positively impact the life of a child. Our children and parents are very thankful to receive these tools that will help them daily”, said Tamyra Kelly, Public Relations Liaison for East Allen County Schools.
